*The company logo is designed based on an image of Japanese Kanji character "" ("Wa" means "Peace/Harmony"), from the name of the founder - Wakako, embracing this planet Earth - it signifies ASTERI GROUP's love for the Earth and vision for its sustainability. 

 

CEO PROFILE

Wakako Oshima, Founder & CEO of ASTERI GROUP Corp., is a U.S. licensed lawyer with top-tier law firm and in-house legal counsel experience at multinational corporations, including deKieffer & Horgan PLLC, Shearman & Sterling LLP, GE International and The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd., held the Head of Legal Department positions at various corporations. She negotiates and provides strategic business advise, with holistic approach, on multiple cross-border business transactions/projects with a central focus on implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into business strategic planning and management.

In addition, Ms. Oshima has been closely working with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Network Japan on issues related to SDGs and CSR and is a member of AKK's 7th graduating class (AKK means "Think of Tomorrow's Business Management" and is a UNGC Network Japan's research group, annually comprised of board members/business leaders of private enterprise from different industries).  

Panelist at the WTO Public Forum and given numerous lectures on “SDGs and international trade for the next generations” and “International trade and sustainability for our planet 100 years from now.”
